Nicholas is an independent director with over 30 years financial services experience, having worked in London and Africa before returning to Jersey. For 23 years he was CFO for a banking group’s offshore businesses, which included investment management, trust services and fund administration. He trained and qualified with Coopers & Lybrand, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and is a member of the Jersey branch of the Institute of Directors. Nicholas also served as a member of the Jersey Funds Association for 16 years.
Nicholas has extensive experience of chairing and sitting on the boards of companies, both in the retail and alternative investment space. These include single manager and multi-manager mutual funds, hedge, private equity and debt funds. He has multi-jurisdictional experience, including board positions on Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Luxembourg and Mauritius funds. He has also served on a number of audit committees and is currently the chair of the audit committee for a Jersey based investment management business.
