The third annual Autism Guernsey golf day took place on the 11th September raising in excess of £8,000.

Part sponsored by Altair Partners Limited the event was held at La Grande Mare Golf Club and involved 26 teams mostly from the corporate / finance sector, consisting of 104 participants including Nick Watkins and Michel Davy who teamed up with Steve Cliff of PraxisIFM Group and John Rochester of Mourant Ozannes to form their team the Altair Rangers.

Paul's Motors kindly sponsored the car which was the hole in one prize on the 11th but sadly no one managed to win this, instead there was a hole in one the 13th!

First place went to Lloyds Offshore, followed by Aztec in second and Raven Russia in third place.

As well as raising funds through the entrance fees, a raffle also encouraged players to dig deep for Autism Guernsey to raise funds which will go towards ongoing services for their Outreach programme which provides personalised support to individuals and families in the community.

Michel Davy, Director of Autism Guernsey said "We would like to thank all our sponsors for their ongoing support and for helping to make the 2015 golf day a great success.  The weather was kind to us and the golf course was in excellent condition so a big 'thank you' to La Grande Mare Golf Club for welcoming the golfers and making it such a memorable day.  I am delighted that such a significant amount was raised and that Autism Guernsey will be able to put these funds towards running their Outreach programmme and enabling our charity to continue to grow and to cope with an ever increasing demand from those needing its help and support."
