The ladies of Altair (including our token male – Ian Lambert) together with their guests were lucky enough to witness the powerful voice of Sir Tom Jones singing at Howard Davis Park, delighting thousands of fans and proving that age is no barrier to performance.
The evening started on the terrace of Bohemia for cocktails, canapés and party bags containing chocolate dragons and daffodils, a Welsh flag, party bubbles, an Altair nodding dog and inflatable microphone, so all potential backing singers could sing-a-long with Tom.
The night was a great success, the weather remained dry and our guests Clare Treharne (Director
Head of Audit, Accounting & Outsourcing, BDO) Emily Haithwaite (Partner, Bedells) Jane Pearce (Partner, Ogier) Jean McNutt (Client Director, IPES) Tamara Williams (Director – Private Equity, Sanne) and Brona Lambert (Partner, Moore Stephens) all had a fantastic time. The Welshman, now in his 70s, belted out songs old and new, and the audience of all ages lapped them up.
